The frequency and level of exfoliation required depends on your skin type but it is recommended to do this at least once a week for best results.

Step 2: Nourish
Cleansing and exfoliating can leave the skin dry. Using a hydrating face mask or a nourishing face oil can help seal in natural moisture and essential oils that naturally hydrate your skin.

A toner, which helps maintain the pH levels of your skin, can help prepare your skin for the following steps.
Step 3: Protect
A good sunscreen is essential to any skin care regimen. Not only does it protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun but it has proven benefits that help slow signs of premature ageing.

Products designed to treat specific skin issues such as acne, dry skin or even fine lines and wrinkles should be applied before your sunscreen to allow for deeper penetration and better results.
Step 4: Moisturise
The final step to keeping your skin looking young, healthy and well nourished is of course regular hydration. This means drinking enough water and applying a moisturiser to help lock in those essential oils.

Remember to repeat steps 1, 2 and 4 before you go to bed to ensure you wake up fresh and ready to put your best face forward.
